Cantilever gates are convenient, space saving, and easier to automate in most cases. It’s no wonder they’re a popular choice in Canada and beyond.

We build single and double cantilever gates to match all of our fence systems, in a variety of sizes. Our gates can be manually operated, or automated, and we can install them with a bottom track, or a side mount system if snow is a problem in your area.

Cantilever Gate Materials

Cantilever gate frames are manufactured from HSS tubing, like the rest of our gates, but instead of beefing up the wall thickness and making our gates heavier but not stronger, we use a lighter wall tubing, and add diagonal bracing. When welded securely in place, it ensures that our gates are as strong and stable as possible.

Pale fitting rails and posts are added, and then the whole frame is hot dipped galvanized. Sometimes, for bigger gates, to make shipping and on site assembly easier, we make our frames in two or more parts, that are easy to bolt together when they are delivered by the shipping company.

Cantilever Hardware

Heavy duty gates need heavy duty hardware. That’s why we use a purpose built track and roller system that uses a strong, lightweight lipped channel and heavy duty rollers. These can be floor mounted or post mounted, depending on the application, and they do require a top guide to keep your gate sliding perfectly.
